No Ocean Required, Salt Free
Wakesurfing is the fastest-growing water sport on Lake Lure for good reason. Drop in and let go of the rope, and ride a clean surfable wave behind the boat as long as your legs hold out.
Our Mastercraft wake boats throw clean, shaped wakes that work for first-timers and pros alike. Boards, vests, ropes, and coaching all included.
If you've never tried it, this is one of the easiest board sports to pick up. Most people are riding within their first session.

Frequently Asked Questions
Is wakesurfing easier than wakeboarding?
Most people find wakesurfing easier to pick up. The boat speed is slower and falls are gentler. Great entry point into board sports.
Can kids wakesurf?
Yes. With the right board and coach, kids as young as 8 can surf confidently. Comfort in the water is the key requirement.
Do I need my own board?
No. We provide surf boards in multiple shapes and sizes. Bring your own if you have one you love.
How long does the wave last?
As long as you can stand on the board. The wave is continuous behind the boat. Good riders surf for 5+ minutes straight.
What should I wear?
Swimsuit, optional rash guard. We supply the life vest.
Can I drive the boat myself?
No. Lake Lure doesn't allow rental boats to tow anything, so every ski, wake, and tubing trip includes one of our professional instructors at the wheel. Just show up and ride. We handle the driving, the gear, and the coaching, so all you have to do is enjoy the lake.
How much time should we book?
As a rule of thumb, plan on about 20 minutes per person per activity. A group of four who each want to wakesurf and wakeboard would book about 2-3 hours. Call us and we'll help you plan the right amount of time.
What is your cancellation policy?
To change or cancel at no cost, call us at (828) 625-8066 at least 48 hours before your reservation start time. A valid credit card holds your time. Inside that 48-hour window, we charge 50% of your reservation as a cancellation fee. Refunds don't apply because we never take deposits or charge in advance. You pay once your reservation is complete.
