Cancellation Policy
To change or cancel at no cost, call us at (828) 625-8066 at least 48 hours before your reservation start time. A valid credit card holds your time. Inside that 48-hour window, we charge 50% of your reservation as a cancellation fee. Refunds don't apply because we never take deposits or charge in advance. You pay once your reservation is complete.
Payment
For all rentals, we take payment at the end of your trip or reservation. We know plans change and weather happens, so we'd rather settle up after your day than deal with refunds.
Weather
Safety comes first. If you're worried about the weather, give us a call at (828) 625-8066 and a team member will check conditions with you. Conditions on the lake are often better than the forecast looks.
We only accept weather cancellations on the day of your rental, because Lake Lure has fickle weather. If you get rained out, we only charge for the time you used. A chillier day or a few extra clouds don't count as a weather cancellation.
Pontoon Boat Operators
The operator of a pontoon boat must be at least 21. The Town of Lake Lure requires anyone operating a motorized boat on the lake to pass a simple boating safety quiz. We give every group a full safety briefing and lake orientation before you leave.
Towing and Water Sports
Lake Lure doesn't allow rental boats to tow anything, so every wakesurfing, wakeboarding, water skiing, and tubing trip includes one of our experienced, professional instructors at the wheel. As a rule of thumb, plan on about 20 minutes per person per activity.
Pets
Friendly dogs are welcome on our pontoons. Dogs can be messy, so please take care of our crew: we encourage a tip for the dock staff, which helps us avoid adding a pet cleaning fee down the road.
Rates and Taxes
Rates do not include tax, except water sports (ski and wake boat trips, wakesurfing, wakeboarding, water skiing, and tubing), which are tax-free. Ice is available for purchase.
