Every trip includes one of our experienced, professional instructors. They drive the boat and coach every rider from the boat, from your first time up to advanced tricks. Lake Lure doesn't allow rental boats to tow anything, so an instructor is part of every ski and wake trip.
All the gear is included: boards, skis, surfboards, vests, ropes, and handles. As a rule of thumb, plan on about 20 minutes per person per activity.

Can I drive the boat myself?
No. Lake Lure doesn't allow rental boats to tow anything, so every ski, wake, and tubing trip includes one of our professional instructors at the wheel. Just show up and ride. We handle the driving, the gear, and the coaching, so all you have to do is enjoy the lake.
Are lessons included?
Yes. Coaching is always part of the trip. Our instructors help first-timers get up and push experienced riders to the next level.
How much time should we book?
As a rule of thumb, plan on about 20 minutes per person per activity. A group of four who each want to wakesurf and wakeboard would book about 2-3 hours. Call us and we'll help you plan the right amount of time.
Can I bring my own board or skis?
Absolutely. We also stock boards, skis, and surfboards in every size if you don't want to travel with gear.
What age can kids start?
We've coached kids as young as 6 on tubes and wakeboards. Age and confidence vary — call us and we'll help pick the right starting point.
What is your cancellation policy?
To change or cancel at no cost, call us at (828) 625-8066 at least 48 hours before your reservation start time. A valid credit card holds your time. Inside that 48-hour window, we charge 50% of your reservation as a cancellation fee. Refunds don't apply because we never take deposits or charge in advance. You pay once your reservation is complete.
