The Most Popular Way to Enjoy Lake Lure
Our pontoons are built for easy days with your people. Comfortable seating for up to ten, a shaded bimini top so nobody overheats, and a stable deck that makes swimming stops and sunset cruises feel effortless.
We load every pontoon with a Yeti cooler (ice available for purchase), pool noodles, and a Bluetooth speaker so you can roll up, hop on, and head out. Gas is included. That's it.
Perfect for families, friend groups, and first-timers who just want to float, swim, and soak up the mountains.

Frequently Asked Questions
Do I need a boating license?
North Carolina doesn't require a boating license for recreational boaters, but the Town of Lake Lure requires anyone operating a motorized boat on the lake to pass a simple boating safety quiz. The operator must be at least 21, and we'll give you a full safety briefing and lake orientation before you leave.
Can I bring my dog?
Yes! Friendly dogs are welcome on our pontoons. Dogs can be messy, so please take care of our crew: we encourage a tip for the dock staff, which helps us avoid adding a pet cleaning fee down the road.
Is gas really included?
Yes, gas is always included. The rate you see is the rate you pay.
Do you offer weekly rentals?
Absolutely. Weekly pontoon rentals are popular with families renting lakefront vacation homes. Call us for weekly pricing and to schedule.
What if weather cancels our day?
Safety comes first. If you're worried about the weather, give us a call at (828) 625-8066 and a team member will check conditions with you. Conditions on the lake are often better than the forecast looks. We only accept weather cancellations on the day of your rental, because Lake Lure has fickle weather. If you get rained out, we only charge for the time you used. A chillier day or a few extra clouds don't count as a weather cancellation.
What is your cancellation policy?
To change or cancel at no cost, call us at (828) 625-8066 at least 48 hours before your reservation start time. A valid credit card holds your time. Inside that 48-hour window, we charge 50% of your reservation as a cancellation fee. Refunds don't apply because we never take deposits or charge in advance. You pay once your reservation is complete.
